Possibly the tallest and heaviest duty hardy obelisk you can obtain to make a real statement in your garden, This bespoke hardy obelisk that lasts is made to measure and will provide a fantastic focal point for your garden. The bespoke element allows you to choose a beautiful finial detail.
Constructed from 20mm solid steel uprights and elegant cross bracing with a statement finial these hardy obelisks are designed to last. They are solid structures – there is no hollow tubing and they don’t come supplied flat pack with any assembly required. They will over time form a rust layer that is decorative.
The obelisks are designed to be free standing on level ground but not to be climbed up!
The nominal heights are a generous 2m (2.19m) or 3m (measured along the length of the steel uprights) to which is added the height of the finial which is in the range of 125 to 200mm high.
These Hardy Premium Obelisks are bespoke items hand made in the UK and there is a lead time of several weeks on each order.
On ordering please select your required finial (solid sphere or spiral) and state that in your order notes.
When erecting the obelisk please ensure that the item is level using a spirit level. In open ground you may wish to bed the bottom of each foot into the ground a few inches and / or purchase ground anchors (not included).
Metal structures are heavy and should be suitably placed to remain stable on the ground and should not be used to support other structures or climbed upon no matter how tempting the view from the top might be.
Delivery
Please be aware that these structures are large and heavy and will need careful attention to move and erect the structure safely on your property. The weight and dimensions are given so that you can gauge what equipment and the number of people that are required to erect the obelisk but it will always be a minimum of two people. Delivery is to kerb side only.
Delivery is free of charge in a 100 mile range from Haywards Heath, West Sussex. Price on application for further distances or non mainland locations.
When the item is ready for dispatch we will confirm with you a suitable delivery date to ensure that you are ready to receive the item.
Dimensions:
The 2 meter obelisk has a foot print of 62.5cm by 62.5cm and weighs between approximately 42kg to 48kg dependent on the finial option.
The 3 meter obelisk has a foot print of 80cm by 80cm and weighs between approximately 55kg to 60kg dependent on the finial option.
There is always a slight variation in dimensions (a centimeter or so) since this is a bespoke product.
This Hardy Woven Hand Forged Steel Raised Bed will make a real statement in your garden or courtyard. They have the charm of traditional hazel hurdles with the advantage of not rotting after a couple of winters in the mud. They are therefore, both decorative and practical. We offer them either at 30cm (1 foot) or 45cm (18 inch) high, and either 80cm or 120cm wide. Since they are bespoke hand forged items there is always a slight variability in the dimensions (mostly on the length). Constructed from 30mm solid steel slats that are 3mm thick, they have decorative hand forged scrolls at both ends of each slat. The slats are welded to 10mm uprights and each side securely links to the next using the metal hoops provided to create a rigid square raised bed. Since they are bespoke hand forged items there is always a slight variability in the dimensions (mostly on the length).
